It’s time for our Porn tube interview series, “A Tryst With.” Today, we talk to Cody Sweets about attraction, dating apps, and the sympathetic nervous system.
How did you get into the industry, and what has your journey been like so far?
I started as a registered masseuse in 2025 and now offer full-service escort, erotic massage, and travel companion services. I’ve also been involved in the porn industry. But I’ve put most of my energy into personal work. I’ve always been fascinated by porn tubes as a place to bring out my most primal self and as an activity that intersects with healing, play, and exploring the subconscious. As someone curious about people and values pleasure and connection, I thought this work perfectly fits me. I feel constantly learning and energized by the diversity of my experience and the opportunity to provide a space for my clients to express their desires without shame. I love providing a unique environment where my clients can share the stories and intentions behind what they want to explore. Through this journey, I have been able to gain confidence, express my attractions, and explore different aspects of sex…I intend to savor all of it.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of the porn industry?
My experience in the porn industry has strengthened my connection with my intuition. Ironically, even though the job is high-risk, it has helped me to become more defensive and less critical of fraud, time-wasting, and manipulation. I enjoy being my boss and the unique relationship between work and authenticity. Sometimes, in a dull work environment, you feel pressured to perform, hold yourself back, and feel good. I love being rewarded for being myself. It helped me understand that my existence is a gift. I also really enjoy exploring porn archetypes I didn’t know were in me. It’s also because I get to explore what my clients want. There’s a magic to it!
One of the most significant downsides was riding the industry’s waves of excess and shortage. It’s hard to feel completely safe when the market is unstable, and the public doesn’t have role models to look up to us as S’s. I take this porn tube very seriously and want potential clients to understand how much care and attention we put into this profession. I enjoy growing my business, but the actual hourly rate for Porn-Tube-S is much lower when you factor in the additional costs of maintaining a porn tube and advertising our services. I try my best to set clear boundaries, but there is often a sense of scarcity lurking in the background that can lead us to push or not assert our needs. I don’t like being asked to compromise on price or sexual boundaries. But this sense of scarcity and distorted expectations of our work can also cause newer, more impressionable Ss who are still exploring to succumb to these influences. The idea of a Tran’s man offering full service is new territory, which can also contribute to this imposter syndrome and self-pressure.
What should you consider before venturing into the world of porn tubes?
Consider strengthening your ability to forgive yourself. Learning as you go is an important part, especially if you are new to the porn tube community. Over time, you will develop stronger intuitions and be able to find the balance between building authentic relationships and living your fantasies. You will be able to practice using porn tubes to your advantage. But mistakes are inevitable. Realize that this is a natural part of the learning process. Cultivate patience and the ability to deal with contradictions. It takes time to gain confidence in this market wave and fluctuation. The ability to bend and be assertive develops over time.
